Zorlu Enerji, one of the leading companies in renewable energy, published its 2025 TSRS-Compliant Sustainability Report. The report was the company’s first, prepared in accordance with both the General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information (TSRS 1) and Climate-related Disclosures (TSRS 2) under the Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS). The report addressed sustainability- and climate-related risks and opportunities across governance, strategy, risk management, metrics and targets, while providing a holistic assessment of their potential impacts on the company’s business model, value chain, financial resilience, operational continuity and capacity to create long-term value.

Ultra-marathon swimmer Aysu Türkoğlu successfully crossed the Tsugaru Strait in Japan, the sixth leg of the Ocean’s Seven challenge and one of the world’s most demanding open-water routes, with the sponsorship of Vestel. The young swimmer began the crossing, which spans 19.5 kilometres at its shortest distance, at 10:00 p.m. Türkiye time on 3 July and, due to strong currents, covered approximately 45 kilometres before completing the crossing in 13 hours and 50 minutes. With this achievement, Türkoğlu became the youngest Turkish swimmer to cross the Tsugaru Strait. Aysu Türkoğlu now has just one crossing remaining to complete the Ocean’s Seven challenge. Comprising seven challenging channels and straits around the world that must be swum individually and without assistance, Ocean’s Seven is regarded as one of the most demanding endurance challenges in open-water swimming.
