Vestel brings Aysu Türkoğlu’s inspiring journey to the screen
Having supported sports for more than a quarter of a century and played a pioneering role in sports sponsorships in Türkiye, Vestel held the premiere of AYSU, a documentary chronicling the remarkable journey of ultra-marathon swimmer Aysu Türkoğlu. Produced to mark the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day on May 19, the documentary tells an inspiring story of determination, perseverance and passion.
Speaking at the launch event, Vestel Global Marketing, Domestic Sales and Customer Service General Manager Duygu Badem Uylukçuoğlu said: “As a brand that considers sports a fundamental part of social development, we strongly believe in the unifying and healing power of this ecosystem. Academia, Business World, Entrepreneurship and the Technology Ecosystems Brought Together at Artificial Intelligence Stage
As part of its Smart Life vision, Zorlu Holding continues to create value through technology and innovation. At the second edition of Artificial Intelligence Stage, experts from academia, business world, entrepreneurship and the technology ecosystems came together. Hosted by Zorlu Holding’s Technology, Defense and Digital Business Development Group Presidency, the event explored the transformative impact of artificial intelligence across a wide range of fields, from manufacturing and customer experience to people, culture and governance.
During his opening remarks, Burak Aydın, President of Technology, Defense and Digital Business Development at Zorlu Holding, described artificial intelligence as the fastest corporate technology wave in history. He noted that approximately 18% of the global working-age population—around 1.5 billion people—now use artificial intelligence; that, according to McKinsey, generative AI has the potential to create up to USD 4.4 trillion in annual productivity gains and value for the corporate world; and that, according to PwC’s global research, corporate spending on artificial intelligence is projected to increase from USD 340 billion in 2025 to USD 3 trillion by 2035.

Vestel recognized for global sustainability leadership
Vestel continues to strengthen its sustainability performance through internationally recognized platforms. Vestel Electronics and Vestel White Goods achieved the highest performance level by receiving an A score in the 2025 CDP Climate Change assessment, reflecting the company’s comprehensive approach to tackling climate change and reducing its environmental impact.
Vestel’s sustainability performance was further reinforced by its inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026. Based on the results of the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, the Yearbook recognizes Vestel’s strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance at the global level.

Zorlu Enerji’s sustainability and digital experience achievements recognized with six awards
Zorlu Enerji received six international awards for its sustainability and digital experience projects, further reinforcing the company’s global achievements. At the Stevie Awards for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the company won the Gold Award in the Sustainable Product/Service of the Year category for its Net Zero Roadmap strategy.
The company also received a Platinum Award in the Interactive Web Feature category for its 3D Interactive Sustainability Map and a Gold Award in the UX/UI Design category for its Investor Relations Website at the Hermes Creative Awards, organized by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
In addition, Zorlu Enerji received two awards at the International Finance Awards 2025 for Best Sustainable Bond Issuance – Türkiye, and Most Innovative Integrated Energy Company – Türkiye, while also being recognized in the Energy and Environment category at the ITU Management Awards.

PSM Loves Summer begins
Having become a summer tradition, Zorlu PSM’s PSM Loves Summer concert series, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, once again fills the city with music, featuring iconic artists who have shaped the history of music.
Beginning with the distinctive sound of independent artist JMSN, the series continues with a lineup featuring Moby, one of the most influential figures in electronic music; Sex Pistols, one of the iconic names that shaped music history; Skunk Anansie, the distinctive voice of rock music; and The Prodigy, which brought electronic music from the dance floor to the heart of the mainstream. With concerts and surprise performances throughout the summer, the series will transform the city into a festival atmosphere.

Korteks showcased innovative and sustainable solutions at Techtextil 2026
Korteks, one of Europe’s leading integrated polyester yarn manufacturers, showcased its innovative product portfolio focused on technical textiles and sustainability at Techtextil 2026. Held in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 21–24, the exhibition attracted significant interest from international industry professionals, who explored the company’s advanced yarn technologies developed at its R&D Center.
Held biennially and regarded as one of the world’s leading events for technical textiles, Techtextil once again provided a platform for Korteks to demonstrate its expertise in both technical performance and sustainability through its broad product portfolio.

Vestel Mobility takes a strategic step in automotive electronics
Vestel Mobility continues to expand its capabilities in automotive electronics through strategic partnerships. As part of its collaboration with Ford Otosan, the company has developed a Body Control Module (BCM) and Smart Vehicle Key (Keyfob) for Ford Trucks, further strengthening its expertise in automotive electronics while expanding its product portfolio focused on smart vehicle technologies and in-cabin experiences.
Developed together with Ford Trucks Türkiye, both projects showcase Vestel Mobility’s advanced engineering capabilities, quality-driven approach and long-term sustainability vision.

Death of a Salesman draws international media attention
Zorlu PSM’s production of Death of a Salesman, praised for its international cast and compelling stage interpretation, performed to sold-out audiences throughout the season while also attracting significant attention from the British media. Alongside the Financial Times Weekend, several UK-based arts and culture publications featured both the production and Zorlu PSM’s international vision. As part of the production’s international promotional activities, a theatre critic from The Guardian and the culture editor of The Stage were hosted in Istanbul to attend the performance.

Representatives from public and private sectors gathered at Vestel Mobility and Chint Power
Public officials and industry representatives came together for a two-day technology and production tour hosted by Vestel Mobility and Chint Power. Participants visited Vestel Mobility’s manufacturing hub, Vestel City in Manisa, as well as its domestic energy storage systems production facility in İzmir. The two-day strategic meeting highlighted Vestel Mobility’s manufacturing, engineering and infrastructure capabilities in energy storage systems while exploring the critical role of energy storage in Türkiye’s energy transition, global market developments, and the sectoral impact of the partnership between Vestel Mobility and Chint Power.
The partnership aims to meet the rapidly growing demand for energy storage through local manufacturing while strengthening Türkiye’s production capabilities in energy technologies in line with global standards.
