Zorlu Holding has published its 2024 Sustainability Report

Zorlu Holding shared the practices it implemented in 2024 with its Group companies and the progress it made in this scope in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) in its 2024 Sustainability Report, towards the targets it set within the framework of its Smart Life 2030 sustainability strategy. With the activities carried out under “Regenerative Business Models” and “People-Centered Ecosystems,” approaches, it was aimed to spread the use of low-carbon solutions, increase energy efficiency, and support the use of renewable resources. Zorlu Holding and its Group companies achieved a 22.7% reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions as of 2024. In the same period, a 22% decrease in the total amount of recycled waste was achieved, with 123,034 tons of waste being recycled. As of 2024, the company increased its R&D and innovation budget by approximately 1.2 times, investing 2.9 billion lira in this area.

Vestel Mobility expands its service network in Europe

Vestel Mobility has launched a strategic partnership with Diebold Nixdorf company to further develop its capabilities in the field of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Europe. Under the terms of this collaboration, Diebold Nixdorf will undertake the service and maintenance of Vestel Mobility's EVC-DC series charging stations located in Italy. Ender Yüksel, General Manager of Vestel Mobiliy, said in a statement on the matter, “While the partnership we have established with Diebold Nixdorf will maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of our existing charging infrastructure in Italy, it will also enable us to always offer the best experience to electric vehicle drivers. We plan to expand this partnership into a broader service network in the future.”

Zorlu Enerji is on the “A List” in CDP 2024 for its success in supplier engagement

Zorlu Enerji achieved significant success by being included in the “A List” under the “Supplier Engagement Assessment” (SEA) in the 2024 reporting cycle of the international sustainability reporting platform CDP. CDP's SEA assessment measures how effective companies are in combating climate change throughout their supply chains. Within this scope, criteria such as reducing carbon emissions, managing climate risks, transparent reporting, and cooperation with suppliers are taken into consideration. While only a limited number of companies worldwide can make it onto the “A List,” Zorlu Enerji became one of the pioneering companies from Türkiye to earn this distinction this year.

Vestel's Dishwasher Factory has received LEED Gold Certification

Placing environmental responsibility at the core of production as a part of its sustainability vision, Vestel continues its sustainability efforts with the goal of ensuring a more livable world for future generations resolutely. The company, which has taken an important step in this journey, has earned the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification with its Dishwasher Factory. LEED Gold level is awarded to projects that demonstrate superior performance in criteria such as energy efficiency, water saving, use of environmentally friendly materials, and indoor life quality.

Lentatek and Ayesaş took part in IDEF25 with their technologies and critical solutions in the defense and aviation sectors

Lentatek introduced its products and systems, which were developed with local and national resources, at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), one of the most important events in the defense industry. Lentatek showcased its new products and technologies for unmanned and autonomous systems, hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, as well as defense, security, aviation, and space sectors at the fair, and shared its superior technological capabilities with the visitors. The company also introduced the latest version of the KARAYEL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle at the fair.

Zorlu Enerji has embarked on a new era in energy efficiency with the nGEL Project Workshop

Zorlu Enerji hosted an important workshop as part of the nGEL Project supported by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program where trigeneration practices in geothermal energy and innovative solutions for increasing energy efficiency were discussed. The nGEL Project, led by an international consortium including Zorlu Enerji, aims to convert existing geothermal power plants to simultaneously provide heating and cooling in addition to electricity generation. This system supports the integration of intermittent renewable sources by providing flexibility and efficiency in energy supply.

Nearly 600,000 art lovers gathered at 1,134 events in Zorlu PSM's 12th season!

Zorlu PSM continues to bring innovation and inspiration to Istanbul's cultural and artistic atmosphere with its motto “Change Your World”. Throughout its 12th season, hosting 1,134 events and welcoming nearly 600,000 art lovers, Zorlu PSM featured a wide range of programs, including internationally renowned musicals and shows by prominent figures in both international and local music, high-profile theater productions, inspiring festivals, solo performances, and corporate meetings. Zorlu Enerji has achieved another significant success in its sustainability journey by earning a place in the S&P Global 2025 Sustainability Yearbook, one of the world's most respected platforms. The company was included in the selection with a score of 73 points in the global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). The Sustainability Yearbook, published annually by S&P Global, brings together companies that make a difference in their sectors through their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. In the 2025 selection, where more than 7,800 companies from all over the world were evaluated, only those organizations that ranked in the top 15% in terms of performance were included in the Sustainability Yearbook.

Zorlu Enerji received three major awards at the Stevie Awards

Zorlu Enerji, has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and innovative energy solutions through projects that advance the energy transition internationally and was honored with awards in three different categories at the Stevie Awards, one of the world's most prestigious award programs. The international collaboration project GECO, which aims to reduce carbon emissions in geothermal energy production, won the Silver Stevie Award in the “Most Effective Sustainability Partnership” category. The EOLIAN Project, which encompasses innovative storage and production technologies aimed at increasing efficiency in wind energy, was awarded with the Bronze Stevie Award in the “Energy Sector Innovation of the Year” category. Zorlu Enerji's Net Zero Roadmap, which was prepared in line with its 2050 net zero target, attracted attention with its decisive and measurable steps in the fight against climate change and won the Bronze Stevie Award in the “Sustainability Initiative of the Year” category.
