VESTEL
Vestel Launches a New Era in the European Mobility Market
Vestel Mobilite, the Vestel company operating in EV charging stations, electric vehicle components and energy storage solutions, is raising the standards in the global market with the EV charging stations it has developed. Vestel CEO Ergün Güler emphasized that with its advanced products and technologies, Vestel Mobilite is setting the industry’s standards. 'As many leading manufacturers plan to include 500kW charging stations, we are introducing 720kW stations, pushing the boundaries of technology. We believe our EVCs, capable of charging EVs from 20 percent charge level to 80 percent charge level in as little as 15 minutes, are an important milestone for the market,' he explained.
After recently delivering Turkey's ultra-fast EV charging station with a power capacity of 720kW to Zes, Vestel Mobilite also provided 16 EVCs with 400kW power to the charging center put into service by Electrip, Europe's leading charging service company, in the Assago region of Italy.

Leading renewable energy company Zorlu Enerji continues to enhance ESG performance with sustainability activities. Zorlu Enerji ranked 3rd out of 334 companies worldwide in the ESG performance assessment of publicly traded companies conducted by LSEG, an international financial analysis and reporting organization. The company also increased its score from 49 to 73 in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, one of the industry's largest ESG data platforms.
Zorlu Enerji, which has long contributed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by investing solely in renewable resources, is committed to sourcing all of its energy from renewables by 2030. Aiming to achieve net-zero across entire value chain by 2040, the company is also working to facilitate carbon-free growth for its customers alongside its own operations.

Era of Savings with IoT and Artificial Intelligence from Vestel

Vestel Ventures invests in US-based Splitvolt, Inc.
Vestel Ventures, founded in 2015 to support start-ups and introduce new business opportunities to Vestel, has made a strategic investment that will further strengthen Vestel's presence in mobility. Vestel Ventures invested in US-based Splitvolt, a company offering solutions to make EV charging more accessible and simplify charging. Burak Aydın, President of Zorlu Holding Technology and Business Development Group, stated that Vestel aims to enhance its power in the EV ecosystem and mobility with this investment. Ender Yüksel, General Manager of Vestel Mobilite, stated that this investment paves the way for Vestel Mobilite to enter US households in the forthcoming period.

Elif Yener, CEO of Zorlu Enerji, ranks 17th among Sustainability Leaders
Fast Company magazine has released Sustainability Leaders of Turkey” list, highlighting the leaders who make a difference in sustainability. 152 candidates were nominated in this year's survey, held for the 5th time. The jury selected the 50 most influential sustainability leaders who have made a difference in sustainability and put innovative approaches in ESG at the forefront. Elif Yener, CEO of Zorlu Enerji, achieved a significant performance by ranking 17th in the Sustainability Leaders 50 survey.

OEDAŞ to Monitor Electricity Grid and Lighting via Satellite
Electricity distribution company OEDAŞ, in a first in Turkey, has launched a system to track possible malfunctions in electricity networks and lighting via satellite. Developed in collaboration with satellite and space technologies company Plan-S, the system will be used particularly in areas with poor GSM reception. This way, OEDAŞ will monitor malfunctions and initiate the necessary actions without the need for consumers in these regions to report malfunctions by phone. In the event of a disaster, the system will allow much faster identification of regions experiencing malfunctions and interruptions. Additionally, as energy consumption data will be measured by satellite tracking system, the use of vehicles to read meters will be reduced. OEDAŞ will prevent around 1 ton of carbon emissions annually for each region the system is used.

Smart Life Academy 6th session trainings completed
As part of Zorlu Holding's Smart Life 2030 sustainability vision, the 6th session of Smart Life Academy “Sustainability 101” training, launched in cooperation with Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center (BÜYEM), has been completed.
For the past six years, sustainability trainings, organized in cooperation with Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center (BÜYEM) as part of the program, have aimed to contribute to both the individual and corporate growth of Zorlu Group employees by increasing their competencies in this area. To date, nearly 1,500 Zorlu Group employees have participated in the training program, which covers basic concepts and the latest developments and approaches in sustainability in a framework ranging from climate crisis and justice to corporate volunteerism, ecological economy, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Another Session Completed in the Zorlu-MEF YetGen Teacher Training Program
Since 2022, Zorlu Holding has supported Zorlu-MEF YetGen Teacher Training, aimed at enabling teachers who prepare young people for the future to better lead and guide their students, while at the same time reinforcing their competencies and awareness in line with the needs of the new world. The 8-week program aims to empower teachers and prospective teachers with 21st century competencies and equip them with the knowledge and skills they will need to guide their students. During this period, participants receive online trainings in a variety of fields ranging from career planning to educational technologies, from psychology to 21st century literacies under the guidance of experts in their fields. The third session of the program, featuring valuable speakers from the business world and academia and opinion leaders in 2024, and attended by approximately 250 teachers and prospective teachers, started in January 2025.

OEDAŞ sustained its B rating in the CDP with sustainable energy investments
OEDAŞ, working on the transition of energy sector to a low-carbon economy and combating climate change, received a “B” rating in the CDP Climate Change Program's 2024 assessment. With this, the company, operating in electricity distribution, succeeded in maintaining this rating continuously since 2021. OEDAŞ Director Muzaffer Yalçın stated, “We continue to put environmental sustainability at the heart of our way of business and take concrete steps to this end. While investing in energy efficiency-enhancing technologies, we develop projects that support the integration of renewable energy sources into the grid. In 2024, we supplied 1.9 billion kWh of energy from renewable sources, accounting for 25 percent of the 7.7 billion kilowatts (kWh) of total energy distributed in our region. At the same time, we are making our energy management processes more efficient to achieve our goal of reducing carbon emissions.”
